Be Your Inner Coach Not Your Inner Critic

Want to know how to boost your self confidence and how to help you to feel better about yourself straight away?

Now we all have conscious thoughts running through our mind. We think internally, we process information, we make decisions but one thing that is often overlooked is what you are saying to yourself about you on daily, hourly even a minute by minute basis.

What I mean is do you beat yourself up internally? Have you ever told yourself "I'm so bad at this, I'm so un-coordinated, I'm so fat, I'm so ugly, my butt is so big" how does any of this self talk empower you and make you feel good and confident in yourself?

Simple, it doesn't. You are the most influential person on you because you spend 24/7 with yourself. So what you say to yourself has a massive impact on your self esteem and your confidence.

Think of the self talk as a tape or a CD inside your head. What you need to do to instantly start feeling better about yourself is to change the tape and what's being played on it and focus only on the good stuff.

For example change I'm so fat & ugly to...I'm beautiful on the inside and in time the outside will match as well.

Change I'm so bad at this to...This is outside my comfort zone at the moment but this is a new skill that I look forward to mastering and I relish the challenge.

Change my butt is so big to...I am currently dissatisfied with the amount of fat stored on my body but in 12 weeks this will all be different and I look forward to seeing the transformation in my body and I accept the challenge of burning off the excess fat.

When you examine your self talk you often realise just how limiting it is and often how negative and restricting we are to ourselves. How can you expect others to love you if you don't even love yourself? I want you to change your inner critic into your inner coach.

So start loving and respecting yourself enough to be kind to yourself and cut the negative self talk, change what you say to yourself, flip it around to be positive and repeat it...over and over.

If you do this right, you will instantly start feeling better about yourself.
