Recruit Your Support Team and Stay On Track

Written on the 20 January 2015 by Studio Pilates

It's a very important step in your Thirty Day Challenge program to recruit your support team and ask for their help out loud.

What does this mean I hear you ask....? Well, you'll need to say your goal out load to your family, friends, even colleagues if needed, everyone in your life that can help you to make it just that little bit easier for you to achieve success.

You see if you want to reach your goal you need to advertise it, to say it out load and what it means to you to those who can support you, especially your family. If you're a woman, then let your husband know that this program and your goal means a lot to you and that you want to be slimmer for you, for him and a better role model and mum for the kids and that you really want his help to enable you to achieve it.

This means you need to say to your husband "that if I have a workout booked at the studio, it would mean a lot to me if you leave work just that little bit earlier so you don't get caught in traffic and you can watch the kids when you get home so that I can work out.

You could also ask him not to book you both into any fancy restaurants for the next little bit until you get on top of this your program and just focus on just enjoying healthy home cooked meals for a while.

Enrol your kids in the support process as well, say "Kids, it would mean a lot to me if you gave me a hand around the house. Please don't ask me to buy takeaway food over the next 30 days as I will find it hard to resist and when we go to the grocery store, please don't ask me to buy chips, cakes, lollies and soft drinks etc as it will really help me if these things aren't in the house and tempting me to eat them".

If your friends, family and work colleagues care about you they will help to support you in your quest but only if you ask for it and tell them how to support you.

Let your Studio Pilates Instructor support you with your results and Pilates technique.
