COURSE FORMAT

Online Pre-Course Study (30 Hours)

The online study for this course involves performing sample reformer workouts, reading through your manual, watching practical exercise workshop videos (one video workshop for each of the 120+ exercises included in the course), and watching videos on programming, muscle activation, reformer orientation, common injuries, pregnancy, how to perform physical corrections and much more! As a part of this study, you will also complete an online, multiple choice exam.

You complete this online study in full (30 hours) before attending the 4 day practical course.

Live Practical Course (4 or 5 Days)* – Completed in Person or Fully Online via Zoom

Because of the online, pre-course study, you come into the 4 day practical course with a really solid understanding of the exercises. The practical course is then all about workshopping the exercises further. We look at how to make them harder, how to make them easier, how to ensure the correct muscles are activating and how to modify each exercise for a range of injuries and pregnancy.

The course is extremely practical and you are actually practising your instructing for a vast majority of the course. Whether you complete the practical course fully online via Zoom or face to face, you will be split into small groups where you practise instructing your partner through the exercises and they practise instructing you. All while your course facilitator provides you with targeted and individual feedback.

*The practical component of this course may be 4 or 5 days depending on the course location and hours available at the venue. Please refer to the dates of the course that you are wanting to enrol in to check the duration.
