However, if you are having difficulty, please ensure that you try these steps prior to contacting the Training Academy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h4><strong>If Your Internet Drops Out<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If your internet connection is dropping out, your wifi signal is likely not strong enough. Try all of the troubleshooting steps below and if none of these work, you will need to reschedule your course and pay the reschedule course fee.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Move closer to your wifi router<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The further you are from your wifi router, the weaker the internet signal will be and the greater the chance of your internet dropping in and out.<\/li>\n<li>Move closer to your wifi router (especially if this is located at the other end of your home) &#8211; if you need to do this, just make sure that you are still in a quiet, light part of your house<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Disconnect wifi from all phones and tablets<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Locate ALL phones and tablets in your house and ensure they are not connected to your wifi. Disconnect all devices from your home wifi except the computer that you need for the Anatomy Course. This will make your internet run A LOT faster\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Phones and tablets connected to your home wifi use a huge amount of internet bandwidth. Apps like Facebook and Instagram are constantly updating in the background and using internet, which can tax your wifi network<\/li>\n<li>Once you turn off wifi temporarily on these devices, anyone using them will still be able to access the internet, but they will be using their phone data instead of the wifi. L<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">et your family know that you\u2019re on an important workshop and they may need to use their phone data to access the internet for a few hours. You can then turn the wifi function back on these other devices outside of the course hours.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>If there are other people in the house with computers connected to the wifi, ask them to turn off the wifi on these other computers temporarily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Issue persists?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your internet drops out consistently and if it means that you\u2019re missing valuable content on the course, your course facilitator will let you know that it isn\u2019t possible for you to continue on the course. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this scenario, the Instructor Support team will contact you on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the next business day<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to chat more about your options and get you in on the next available face to face course date. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A course reschedule fee would apply in this scenario.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>If Your Camera Doesn&#8217;t Work or You Can&#8217;t Hear any Audio<br \/><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Restart computer<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Try restarting your computer<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Check &#8216;Allow Access to Camera&#8217; is turned on<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure your computer has &#8216;Allow Access to Camera&#8217; turned on<\/li>\n<li>One of the reasons that might cause your <b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">camera not to work in Zoom\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">might be your device&#8217;s privacy settings. Due to security reasons, your device, by default, denies third-party app permission to access the camera. You need to permit applications like Zoom before your camera works manually. To check this and ensure this is turned on:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure you have the most up to date version of ZOOM downloaded on your computer desktop\n<ul>\n<li>PC\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"\">Press and hold the <\/span><b><span class=\"\">Window + I keys<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\">\u00a0on your keyboard to open\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"\">Settings.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\">Click on\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"\">Privacy<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\">\u00a0and select\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"\">Camera<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\"> on the left pane.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\">Click the\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"\">Change\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\">button under\u00a0<\/span><i><span class=\"\">Allow access to camera on this device<\/span><\/i><span class=\"\">\u00a0section<\/span><i><span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\">Toggle the switch for\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"\">Camera access for this device\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\">forward to turn it on.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\">Lastly, toggle the switch under the\u00a0<\/span><b><span class=\"\">Allow desktop apps to access your camera\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\">section forward to turn it on.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>IOS (Apple)\n<ol>\n<li>Click the &#8220;<b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">Apple menu<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">&#8221; on your desktop<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Go to\u00a0<b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">System Preferences<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">\u00a0and select\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">Security and Privacy. <\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li>From the privacy tab, Locate the &#8220;<b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">Lock Icon<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">&#8221; (On the bottom left of your screen). Click on it and navigate to the\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">Privacy<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"> setting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>On the left navigation, find and click on the\u00a0<b style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\"><span class=\"\">camera icon<\/span><\/b><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">. Check the box next to the Zoom App.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"\" style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">You have successfully given Zoom access to your camera. Launch Zoom to check if the issue is solved.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if that doesn\u2019t work, see if you can grab a different computer in your home to use instead (please note that you won&#8217;t be able to use a phone or a tablet as you need to be able to visually see the presentation on the screen)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Issue persists?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If all of the above doesn&#8217;t seem to solve your camera or audio problems, we do suggest logging into the ZOOM meeting on your phone AND your computer<\/li>\n<li>If you do this you will need to be logged into the meeting on both devices but only have sound and audio enabled on one device ie. turn down your phone volume and mute yourself on the phone<\/li>\n<li>This means all your audio will come out of your computer and you will be able to view the presentation on your computer however show your attendance and face on your phone camera<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Zoom Software Isn&#8217;t Working<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Are you using the &#8216;desktop client&#8217; version of Zoom?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Before the course, you should have download Zoom onto your computer and set up an account so you are ready to go! To download Zoom, <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/support\/download\">CLICK HERE<\/a>**<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>**Note: there are three ways to access Zoom &#8211;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Downloading the software onto your computer (Zoom calls this the &#8220;Desktop client&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li>Accessing the mobile app (we do not allow this on the course as the screen is too small)<\/li>\n<li>Using the web platform (where you just log in on the Zoom website)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>We recommend that all students download the actual Zoom software onto their computer. We do not recommend accessing the course by going to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoom.us\">www.zoom.us<\/a> and then clicking on &#8220;Sign In.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>We have found that students have a much more stable connection and drop out less when accessing Zoom on the actual Zoom software instead.
