We’ll help you reset your goals and get those endorphins flowing again! STUDIO CLOSURES Studio Pilates Norton Commons is temporarily closed from midnight Thursday 19 November. Please know that we are extending the expiry dates on all class passes while we are closed to ensure all of our valued clients will be able to return to our studios when we reopen. Rest assured you’ll be the first to know when we do. STUDIO REOPENINGS NEW ZEALAND Our New Zealand studios are all open with COVID Safe Plans in place and adhered to. AUSTRALIA Our Australian studios, are all open, with COVID Safe Plans in place and adhered to. Armadale, Victoria open as of Tuesday 1 December 2020. Richmond, Victoria has opened from 9 November in line with the latest Victorian government regulations, to keep our community safe and well. Masks are required and adherence to social distancing regulations for indoors spaces. CHINA Our studios in China are open, with strict health and hygiene controls in place, compliant with current government regulations. STATUS OF CURRENT PACK PURCHASES Expiry dates on all class packs while we are closed have been extended to ensure all of our valued clients will be able to return to our studios on reopening. Your health and wellbeing has always been, and will continue to be, our number one priority. In these uncertain times, more than ever, we’re dedicated to ensuring you feel absolutely safe in our workout space. ONGOING MEASURES We have re-introduced our rigorous hygiene and cleanliness practices in every aspect of our operations, strictly following the relevant government guidelines, updates and recommendations with regard to the coronavirus, as well as adding our own ultra-hygienic measures to ensure your safety. DETAILED EQUIPMENT CLEANING The commercial-grade disinfecting wipes we use to clean the equipment after every class are alcohol-based and therefore highly effective at combatting germs. After your class, you will be guided to thoroughly wipe down ALL the equipment – reformers, springs, footbar, reformer box, head cushions, Pilates circle, stretch bands, wipes canister, ankle weights if used, etc. HAND SANITISER DISPENSERS We will have multiple dispensers of alcohol-based sanitisers in the studio to sanitise your hands before and after class. SANITISING OF HIGH TOUCH AREAS We will also be paying extra attention to disinfecting all high-touch areas such as door handles, and benchtops at the end of each class. RIGOROUS STUDIO DEEP CLEAN An intensive deep clean of all equipment, studios, and common areas are being undertaken between each morning, noon and evening session. HAND STRAP SANITISATION We will be deep cleaning our hand straps daily. SINGLE-USE GLOVES We are also making single-use rubber gloves available in each studio, free of charge, if you wish to use them. The use of gloves in New Zealand is mandatory. NON-SLIP MAT HYGIENE Personal non-slip mats will be made available from your studio, should you wish to purchase your own. These are no longer part of the equipment provided. REDUCED PERSONAL CONTACT Physical corrections and modifications will only be used when required for safety purposes and hand sterilisation by the instructor will take place immediately afterwards. Generally, we will use verbal and visual cues only, to help minimise any health risks. You’ll continue to receive the same amazing workout experience that you’re used to, only safer for all, given the current circumstances. WATER COOLERS Water coolers in New Zealand are not available. Please bring your own water bottle. FEELING UNWELL? If you have flu-like symptoms including a sore throat, runny nose or fever, or have travelled to virus hotspots in the past 14 days, please keep yourself and others safe and healthy by refraining from attending class until cleared by a medical specialist. If you need to reschedule a class please reach out to your studio. CONTACT TRACING REGISTER Studio Pilates will be following government protocols by keeping a record of attendance for the purposes of contact tracing. COVID SAFE PLAN All of our studios have a COVID safe plan which provides a framework for managing risks associated with COVID-19 within Studio Pilates International facilities upon their return to operation. It has been developed as a Studio Pilates International network-wide minimum standard and identifies the unique risks related to COVID-19 within a Studio Pilates International studio, and provides specific protocols to manage these.
