Hundreds for Hope

Hundreds For Hope

Inspired by the story behind one of our cherished Studio Pilates families, Hundreds For Hope was born.

On Saturday 8 June, the Studio Pilates community across Australia and New Zealand is coming together to give hope for children with cancer, and those who love them.

Classes are 100% free, but donations are 100% welcomed.

Rally your friends, family and work buddies together for an inspiring reformer Pilates class as we all dedicate the day to these children.

Plus Prizes + Special Offers + Entertainment at every studio.

Be a champion for kids with cancer. Every donation counts as we join together and raise funds for children’s cancer research and provide support for families.

Sadly, four Australian families hear the words “your child has cancer” every day. Three children die from cancer each week. Continued research is the only way to help our kids and find a cure.

Every year, around 150 New Zealander children are diagnosed with cancer. Approximately 20% will not survive beyond three years of their cancer diagnosis.

Ash and Ryan, owners of one of our studios, know firsthand just how devastating children’s cancer really is. Their six-year-old son, Nash, has a brain tumour and has had both chemotherapy treatment and brain surgery. Ash admits to “falling off the face of the earth” when Nash was first diagnosed.

“After spending so much time in hospital over the years for many different procedures, and then embarking on the most gut-wrenching journey of chemotherapy and brain surgery, we have seen the direct effects of current treatments available to children. We’ve also had some of our little friends taken away from their families and friends way too soon. The experience has changed our family forever.”

Studio Pilates is playing a small part in raising awareness of childhood cancer, by hosting Hundreds For Hope on 8 June with prizes, giveaways, special offers and entertainment in support of our cause.
