Meghan Markle is refreshingly honest about the efforts she puts into exercise, bucking the trend for A-listers who suggest it’s all about genetics – although they certainly help.
Markle’s mother is a yoga instructor so she started the discipline herself as a child and has continued it ever since. “That practice is in my blood,” she told Women’s Health UK. However, it’s not yoga but a certain type of Pilates practice that the royal bride-to-be credits as having changed her body.
Meghan shares her love of Pilates explaining it “is hands down the best thing you could do for your body”.
“There are so many workouts that you try out once and never go back to; You keep coming back for several reasons: first off, your body changes immediately.”
In the case of Pilates, Markle says “the results are incredible,” and quite clearly, they are.
