Anatomy Prerequisites for Matwork

WELCOME

Welcome to the Anatomy prerequisite exam! This exam is focused on gauging your knowledge of the body’s muscles. The purpose of this exam is to determine whether you may need to complete the Studio Pilates Anatomy Course prior to enrolling in the Matwork Course. Working as a Pilates instructor, you will come across a wide range of clients with injuries, postural issues and muscle imbalances. As a result, it is incredibly important that you have a strong grasp on the Anatomy of the body to ensure you are able to assist your clients in their recovery and avoid causing any further injury.

To best gauge your current level of Anatomy knowledge, this test should be completed as a “closed book” exam which means that you should not consult text books or the internet to answer the questions. After all, you wouldn’t be able to consult a text book in the middle of instructing a Pilates class!

TIME LIMIT

You will need to complete this test in under 45 minutes. Unfortunately we are not able to recognise a passing grade if it has taken longer than 45 minutes to complete the test. Please note that you are only able to have one attempt on the exam, the first results that come through to us will be the results that are reviewed.

PASSING GRADE

Please note that the passing grade is 80%. If you do not pass the exam, please do not worry! Simply call our Course Advisor on 1300 630 855 and we will be able to chat to you about your tailored plan towards becoming a Pilates instructor!

If you pass the exam, and also hold a prior Anatomy qualification such as a Certificate III / IV in Fitness or Bachelors Degree in an Allied Health field, you meet the prerequisites to go straight into the Matwork Course.
