If you are getting an error message referencing CODECs when you are trying to play the downloaded Sample Class Program videos, let’s look at some steps that you can take to troubleshoot this issue.
This usually means that you computer is missing some codecs which are needed to play different file types on your computer. Try downloading a media player called VLC which will allow you to play a larger variety of codecs. To download VLC, click here.
Follow the below steps to then play the video –
- Download and install the VLC software using the link above
- Find the Sample Class program file on your computer (it will already be downloaded, so you won’t need to download it again, it is likely in your ‘Downloads’ file)
- Right click on the Sample Class program file and select ‘Open with’
- Select VLC to play the file
