Ball, Circle & Band – because it gives so many variables to our mat classes. It helps people with injuries, the elderly and also creates a lot of fun.

Yes I have been instructing firstly in a gym environment and now in a studio
What has been your greatest challenge as a Pilates instructor?
Continuing to support clients learning ab from when they have done Pilates elsewhere but have not been taught correctly.
How has COVID-19 changed how you instruct?
I have done some zoom classes to keep connection and movement happening for all.
What is the one health or fitness related item that you can’t live without right now?
My mat 100%, it is so versatile and easy to take anywhere I might require it. I love so many pieces of fitness equipment and have a full gym set up at home including a reformer bed, but the basic mat is key.
What is your personal Pilates or exercise philosophy?
Connection of the body and mind with slow controlled movements for all my clients. I am always wanting to use my personal style of instructing that truly aligns with me and is authentic to me.

I have a few Spotify playlists that I have created.
What is your favourite exercise to instruct right now and why?
This is hard as I love so many, but Nutcracker and Grasshopper [from the Matwork Programming and Progressions Course] would have to be my favs.
What is the greatest tip you could give another Pilates instructor?
Find the environment that suits you and your values to instruct as this will make the entire journey and lifestyle as a Pilates instructor truly amazing.
